BERNARD ROSE

Bernard Rose, a graduate of Columbia College and the Juilliard School, has performed as soloist, accompanist, and chamber musician across the country. He has toured the United States with the Young Concert Artists, served as musical director of the New York Community Opera Company, and worked on musical productions for educational television. His affiliation with chamber ensembles includes the Claring Players, West End chamber Ensemble, Laurentian Quartet, Audubon Quartet, the Rotterdam-based Daniel Quartet and Cremona Arts Trio. He has collaborated with numerous artists, including Walter Trampler, Noboko Imai, and Eugene Fodor. Rose is a dedicated teacher, and many of his students are active performers internationally. He has taught at Sara Lawrence College and at CUNY College of Staten Island, and he has recorded for the Library of Congress Records, KHI Records, and Centaur Records.
