Outreach & Education

Upcoming Outreach Events

The Summer 2025 Community Performance Series will feature 45 minute musical programs of two to five musician, designed to be relaxed, inspiring and fun – free and open to the community.

These interactive concerts are especially geared towards children, their families, friends, and the curious of all ages. One of the Players’ greatest joys is sharing the chamber music repertoire with newbies to this musical genre.

The settings are conducive to movement to the music and interaction with the musicians.

During the 47 years that the North Country Chamber Players have shared their artistry with northern New Hampshire residents and visitors, their reach has extended far beyond the concert hall. One of their great pleasures is to introduce the joys of music to young students and newcomers to chamber music of all ages in places where they live, learn, work, shop and play.

Public School Residencies

Over the years, the Players have provided interactive performances and in-school, comprehensive residencies for more than 80,000 New Hampshire students. To this end, The North Country Chamber Players have visited the following schools in 2024-2025: Berlin, Bethlehem, Easton, Errol, Franconia, Gorham, Groveton, Jefferson, Lancaster, Lisbon, Littleton, Milan, North Stratford, Pittsburg, Stark, Stewartstown, Sugar Hill and Whitefield.

Do you know of a school, music or band program in the North Country that may like the Players to conduct an interactive, educational program and reach our youth? Email here.

Summer Outreach Events

For more than four decades, the Chamber Players have made a firm commitment to complement their performance season with free programs at a variety of local venues frequented by youngsters.

This summer plans are underway to visit Copper Cannon Camp for underserved children and local libraries and communities throughout the North Country.

Free Instrumental Tutorials

Students of all ages, from youngsters to adults, have taken advantage of the Chamber Players’ summer music lessons program.

Some past participants are now professional musicians and teachers, while others play with local amateur groups, or just jam with friends in the living room.

Anyone who has studied an instrument played by a North Country Chamber Player member, for more than two prior year, can sign up for lessons. Inquiries can be made via Email here.

Community Partnership

A priority of The Chamber Players has always been to partner with groups who are also deeply involved in community building in the North Country.

These include Service Organizations, Community Centers, Rehab, Senior Facilities, Social Clubs and local businesses.

This season is no exception. Keep checking back for updates.
