DESCRIPTION:Johannes BRAHMS String Sextet No. 2 in G and Richard STRAUSS Sextet from ‘Capriccio’  \nBrahms’s G Major Sextet stands as a pinnacle of his chamber music output\, universally admired for its emotional depth\, haunting mysterious beauty and an unrivaled rich string sonority. The work is tinged with a bittersweet tone\, partly inspired by Brahms’ failed romance with Agathe von Siebold\, whose name is encoded in the first movement with the notes A­G-A-H-E.  \nThe North Country Chamber Players have adopted a “Pay-What-You-Wish” ticket pricing for concerts. Seating is limited\, so attendees are asked to make free online reservations.The recommended ticket price is $25\, payable at the door\, but there is no minimum ticket price required for entry. \n\nCLICK HERE FOR MORE INFORMATION AND TO RESERVE YOUR SEATS
