Bernard Rose, pianist, is a graduate of Columbia College and the Juilliard School and has performed as soloist, accompanist, and chamber musician across the country.

He has toured the United States under the auspices of Young Concert Artists, served as musical director of the New York Community Opera Company, and worked on musical productions for educational television. He has appeared as piano soloist for numerous dancers and dance companies throughout the country.

His affiliation with chamber ensembles includes the Claring Players, the West End Chamber Ensemble, the Laurentian Quartet, the Audubon Quartet, the Rotterdam-based Daniel Quartet and the Cremona Arts Trio. Artists with whom he has collaborated include Walter Trampler, Nobuko Imai, Eugene Fodor, Eugenia Zuckerman, Richard Goode, Jan Opalach, Lucy Shelton and members of the Tokyo Quartet.

A dedicated teacher, many of his students are active performers internationally. Rose taught both at Sarah Lawrence College and at CUNY College of Staten Island. He has recorded for the Library of Congress Records, KHI Records, and Centaur records.
